Mother & Baby Circle

Postnatal Mother & Baby Wellbeing Circle

A mother & Baby Circle is 6-week course for mums and their babies from 6 weeks to crawling. It is facilitated in a safe and nurturing space in my Garden Cabin in Woodstock, West Oxfordshire called ‘Mother’s Haven and is a place for mums & babies to come and meet other mums & babies to share their experiences and challenges related to motherhood.

It is space and time for mums and their babies to relax, connect with others, talk about things relevant to their situations and build a sense of community and support. They are fun, light-hearted, emotional and uplifting. It is a time to slow things down and tune into yourself and your baby in the here and now, sharing stories and being with others in similar and different situations.

The circle allows you to express your thoughts and worries in a non-judgemental and supportive space giving you a sense of safety and emotional release, all while feeling held and supported by other mums and babies in the circle.

There is no obligation to share in the circle only if you want to. Just come as you are, rest, enjoy, learn and relax. There is a structure to the circles with a topic each week to discuss and it is a confidential space where you can find safety, joy and fulfillment.

What happens in a Mother & Baby Circle?

Circles combine elements of Postnatal Yoga, Baby Massage, Breathwork, Mindful Exercises and Guided Imagery Relaxation. I will introduce you to lifelong yoga, massage and wellbeing practices that promote touch, connection, stillness and presence. It is a calm and supportive space that helps bring a sense of belonging to your early months of motherhood. It is a baby-led circle with an emphasis on your needs and how you want to feel as a mum whether it is your first or third, fourth or fifth time. Setting time aside to fill your own cup is so important as a new mum and the mother & baby circle helps you create strong foundations in motherhood.

£120 for 6 week course

“Really enjoyed the postnatal wellbeing circle, it helped me so much at a time when I just had my second baby and was struggling to get my three year old to sleep. Ruth’s caring guidance helped me get all of us into a better sleeping pattern which made such a difference to our lives. I now can enjoy being a new mum all over again. I made some lovely new friends at the circle and we all support each other in so many ways”
